PAS24

Demands are changing for residential security. Communal homes had been serviced by a single doorset on the exterior entrance of a building. With ever opportunistic thieves, tailgating overcame the need to break entry to dwellings. Today's market demand the heightened security at each residency. These apartments have internal lobbies where communal wear and tear or weather resistance is no longer necessary. Principal Doorsets have a full range of doorset solution for all requirements. Being accredited by BM Trada Quality Mark (Q-Mark) our range is fully third party audited and approved.

Third-party certification process completed by Principal Doorsets for products that carry PAS24 designation is designed to ensure that products are consistently produced to the required standard and, crucially, will continue to meet the standard in use.  This in-depth approach involves both initial and ongoing testing of the product, together with audits of both the production facility and the product. It has been found that up to 50% of doors and windows that are tested, will initially fail the security and tests and that remedial work is needed before they can pass. Certification ensures that every door and window manufactured lives up to the same set of standards, not just the ones currently undergoing testing.
